What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese word pronounced "Ray-Key". This Usui System of healing means Universal Life Energy.

Reiki is the laying on of hands in a traditional manner to provide receiver with the healing life energy as the practitioner directs healing energy to a specific part of the body or the entire body.
Reiki is safe, gentle and easy for all ages. It allows you to go within to accept this universal life energy as a partner in your healing process.
Reiki is compatible with all other modalities of healing, weather traditional or alternative. All your clothes are left on (except shoes) and the treatment is non invasive. Usually the whole body is treated, front and back while you lay on your back. All you need to do as the receiver is feel the relaxation, experience peace, safety, well-being, feel your body accepting the non invasive healing energy and balanced wellness.
The ancient respected practice accelerates healing and the balancing of the body, mind and spirit.
The energy offered is a universal energy which flows through the practitioner's body and out through their hands. It is not a personal energy.
Who provides this treatment?
Lynda McKinney is a Karuna Reiki® Master as well as an Usui Reiki Master with over 23 years experience.
She teaches Reiki Classes and certifies her student with all levels of Reiki.

How long does a session take?
The session in total is about 1.5 to 2 hours. The treatment is an hour with time before hand to talk and time after to have tea and share your feelings about the session, if you want to.
What about Cost?
The cost is $60 for the session. Cash is preferred, please.
