My Dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2007. He underwent surgery and after surviving complications from that, he was given one month to live. With no hope except my Dad's positive attitude we came to see Dr.McKinney. From the moment we called the office, Lynda and Talia gave us SO much hope - more than we had felt in months.
Dr.McKinney set us on a course of action that he tweaks from time to time. It is now one year later and my dad is still with us, and doing well!
Dr.McKinney pays attention to every detail and is brilliant. My dad would not be here today without Dr. Neil McKinney.
Lynda - well, she is the icing on the cake. Her warmth radiates like a warm blanket. This trait has been passed on to her daughter, Talia who works in the clinic as well.
We want to thank this amazing team for giving us an incredible year of memories!
Love Always,
P & H .M., B & J .M., and all the grandkids
This is my story of living with cancer and role Dr. McKinney and his wife Lynda have played in my healing journey.
In 1992,
at the age of 43, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and, after surgery and chemotherapy treatments, I was considered "cancer free".
I have always been a strong believer in natural medicine and followed a protocol recommended by a Naturopath during my treatments,
as well as in the years following.
Here's the good news: In January 2003, I was fortunate to hear about Dr. McKinney and his dedication
to naturopathic cancer research and treatment. From our very first meeting, I knew I was going to put myself totally in his
care. I was most impressed with his knowledge of the most recent cancer studies and research, his compassion and his honesty.
He told me that, although he could not cure me (my cancer was too far advanced), he hoped to give me a few more years and a better
quality of life. This he has done - I was given a maximum of 3 years and it's now been over 5 years!
Dr. McKinney's cancer
treatment has been simple and most effective for me. While I continued taking a drug called Arimadex, an estrogen blocker recommended
by my Oncologist, I immediately replaced my morphine with Dr. McKinney's protocol. Within a couple of weeks my pain began to
decrease and my energy level gradually increased to the point where, eventually, I was able to return to work on a part time
basis. And no more of those nasty side effects of the morphine! Dr. McKinney has continued to monitor my disease closely
and has made necessary changes in medication or dosages from time to time, based on results of newest research.
Dr. McKinney
and Lynda have both touched my life in countless ways. They witness, every day in their clinic, how devastating a cancer diagnosis
can be. They understand and they truly care... Always just a phone call away, they have been there for me emotionally,
spiritually and physically. They have become cherished friends. I know that I am here today because of their loving care.
I am now enjoying my life and I will be forever grateful to them.

Greetings, Neil.
First of all,
. and I want to thank you sincerely for all that you did with and for
and myself. Again, we are
recommending you and your practice to many. What I remember the most beyond your knowledge and experience, is your true and sincere
compassion and your willingness to listen and learn.
We are again in your capable hands, Neil.
Sincerely, B.H.
Dear Dr. McKinney,
Thank you so much for all the time you gave me yesterday. I just can't put into words what you and Lynda have done for me - the most important is in giving me hope when I thought there was none. How can I adequately thank you for that? But THANK YOU just the same! I so appreciate your wisdom and vast knowledge on so many topics. I was quite excited when I first learned of these foot spas, but there was just something nagging at me and stopping me from ordering one, something just didn't seem right, so thank you for all your knowledge on the subject. Thank you for all the information
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU,
May God Bless you both in abundant ways,
C.L.
Dear Dr. McKinney:
I ordered your book, and received it a few weeks ago, and have read it and read it and read it. It is wonderful! I love the layout and how you have made everything so simple to understand. I wanted to really thank you for writing it. Thank you for your dedication and all your hard work. I can only imagine the vast amount of time and energy it took to write such a book. Your book is so desperately needed in a sea of conventional books that are all so gloomy and hopeless, that make you feel that cancer always wins, and your only hope lies in toxic drugs that might kill you before the cancer does. When I'm reading your book I am continually reminded of how pwerful the changes I choose to make can be.
Thank you for empowering and giving hope to me, and so many people living with cancer. Your work will touch, impact, and make an incredible difference to so many lives, as it has mine. Thank you too for helping me so much in the past. I am doing all you have suggested and am constantly tweaking and refining my eating habits and lifestyle - I even feel I am beginning to win the sugar battle ( why is that soooooo hard???)! I feel that because of you i will be able to beat the 15% chance I have of my breast cancer metastasizing. Not only does that mean I get to live my life, but 2 very small kids get their mom and a a husband keeps his wife. How could any of us possibly thank you adequately for all of that!!!
I truly thank God for you and your work.
So gratefully yours,
"patient X"

Dear Dr. McKinney and Lynda,
It's been a few months, and so I thought I'd drop you a line to let you know that I have made out very well, and I'm quite sure, in large part to the help that you both gave me. I had a tumour removed June 30. That went very well. The cancer had spread to 3 of 24 lymph nodes close to the tumour, but my surgeon took them all out. The BCQ, Jingli Neixiao, and the Reiki session apparently shrunk my tumour to the point that I did not require a colostomy. I still carry the Healing Angel token in my pocket that you gave to me, Lynda. I know it worked.
Dr. V is working closely with me these days. She has been very helpful also. I'm so glad that I met each of you. At the moment, I've just completed day 4 of chemotherapy, will go back tomorrow and will then have 3 weeks off to digest everything. burp! Next month I'll receive radiation. The full protocol will run through to next March. My Oncologist said that if I can complete the treatment, that my chances of beating this are 70%. That's fine. I'll take it. To help keep me out of the 30% bracket, I'll continue to work with Dr. V., but would also like to come back to Victoria to continue Reiki sessions. I love my life, I love my wife and I will fight hard to keep living.
Thank you both for all that you've done to help me, and am looking forward to seeing you both again.
Sincerely,
B T
Hi Dr. McKinney,
First of all I want to thank you for giving me something that had been taken from me upon my diagnosis with breast cancer. After meeting with you a couple of weeks ago, I left your office feeling like I had taken back a portion of the control of my life that I had lost. The fact that I am now taking an active role in some of the many choices to be made as to how and what kind of treatment I choose to fight this nasty disease using all resources available has left me feeling back in charge and a lot more confident. I have always been a believer in good health, nutrition and taking care and now, with whats ahead, there are tools available to aid me in the battle to come.
You seem to be a very dedicated and knowledgeable Dr. and I feel confident
in the amount of study and time you have devoted your life to in order to gain understanding of this disease and many others I'm sure.
Both
you and Lynda are kind and gentle souls who after but one visit have made me feel extremely comfortable at one of the hardest periods
in my life to date.
Dear Dr. McKinney,
Thank you so much for your response and for just taking so much of your time to answer me. When I go
in to my surgeon this Thursday to get the test results I wanted to have a clear plan of my own to discuss with her if she tells me
it is in fact cancer. The first time going through all this I made decisions based on fear and intense pressure from others.
If it happens again I want to be in control, and so having this plan, and now knowing it is a pretty good one helps me tremendously.
I feel hope!
Saying "Thank You" to you is so very inadequate, but Thank You just the same,
Dr. McKinney: The wife of the lymphoma patient you helped me with this spring was recently in my office in tears with gratitude
over the support we gave her husband this spring. He is doing amazingly well. Thanks again.
To whom it may concern: When the doctors diagnosed me with cancer of the pancreas and told me they could not do anything to treat it I was devastated, NO HOPE, I could not believe it, then someone told me about Dr. McKinney a Naturopathic doctor with a specialty in cancer treatments. Dr. McKinney and his wife were so kind and gave me much encouragement through this difficult time. Dr. McKinney put me on a regiment of several vitamins, herbs, and herbal injections three times a week to fight cancer. My joy was great, now after only three months I feel great, it is not over yet but I know we will win, thanks to Dr. McKinney who not only gave me hope but also quality of life.
Sincerely,
H.K.

Thank-you so much!
I continue to receive feedback from the participants of the workshop about
how pleased they were....they uniformly felt that the day was very worthwhile, one volunteer said it was "like we had given her a
gift". I truly hope our paths cross again!
Be well
D.O.
